Art and Crafts created by local artisans will be featured at Singing Winds Crafts Market in Kensington Plaza. During the market, musical ensembles and street performers will offer free concerts in Kensington Plaza and the Beverly Road Open Street (3:30 - 5:00pm). Spring Solstice in Albemarle Playground: Tree Care Workshop

Stitching Community: Telling Stories through Embroidery and Writing with Farida Ruhul and Roohi Choudhry

In this workshop, participants will learn traditional kantha running stitch embroidery and weave stories about home and belonging with our neighbors. Embroidery instructor Farida Ruhul and writer Roohi Choudhry will guide us through stitching and chatting together, then we will write and share stories. This is a bilingual program open to Bangla and English speakers. Supplies will be provided, all are welcome.
